During the initial discovery stages of designing a new website for Advancis, thorough research was conducted to gain a deep understanding of the target audience, industry trends, and competitor websites. This process began by identifying the company's goals, target users, and key messages we wanted to convey through a workshop session. I used a series of tools, including Invision, Google analytics and Octopus (Visual Sitemap Tool).
The objective of the proposal was to outline to key stakeholders the process and benefits of redesigning Advancis Medicals website to enhance user experience, improve usability, and strengthen the company's online presence. I proceeded to then outline how the site would start to look and worked with the marketing manager to populate the pages with content.
Starting with the wireframes, I transformed them into interactive screens. The prototype accurately represented the approved high-fidelity user interface designs and showcases the intended user experience. In addition to the prototype, I have created a comprehensive handover document for the developers. This document includes detailed specifications, such as design specifications, font styles, colour codes, asset details, and interaction guidelines. As I still work for Advancis, I maintain the CMS and SEO for the site, ensuring the performance exceeds its competitors, and analyse the sites analystics to constantly improve the sites functionality.
